Beirut - Dozens of people were killed in a double suicide attack on a military security branch in Harasta, just northeast of the capital Damascus, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Tuesday.

"Dozens of people were killed in two suicide attacks against the air force intelligence branch in Harasta" late on Monday, Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman said.

"The fate of hundreds of prisoners being held in the basements of the [building] is still unknown," he added.

Bringing martial law to Syria under the guise of freedom and democracy. Fred how do you condone these attacks? What does this say about the opposition?

In case you have not noticed, the opposition holds the morally higher ground.

Tom, 8934646345397634572, You choose to ignore that that this 'acid' monster is capable of ANYTHING; Firing rockets from tanks into apartment blocks! Shooting live ammunition at women and children from gunship helicopters!! Dropping bombs from aircraft on unarmed civilians, standing in a que to buy bread!!! Have suicide bombers blow themselves up , with maximum loss of life!!!! WHY NOT ?????????????????????????????

The attacks appear to be by Jihadists who make up approximately 5% to 10% of those removing Assad and his brother from unelected power. They share the same immediate objective of removing them. Beyond that there are deep divisions between the two. It's tragic. The pain and suffering is too much to even imagine.
