Beirut - Rebels said they seized a Syrian army infantry college near the northern city of Aleppo after five days of fighting with forces loyal to President Bashar Assad.

A commander from the Islamist Tawheed Brigade said his men helped take the building on Saturday.

"At least 100 soldiers have been taken prisoner and 150 decided to join us. The soldiers were all hungry because of the siege," he added.

. The same was said about Libya, and after thirty years of dictatorship and tyranny, they are well on the way to have a just, fair and decent soceity!!!1

Patrick, The problem with you loonies from the violent left is, that your ONLY aim is to spew out HATRED for the West. NOTHING ELSE !!!! After 30/40 and in the case with Syria, FIFTY YEARS, of dictatorships and tyranny, to expect that one can switch over from a brutal regime to one of a just and decent soceity, in a matter of months, is totally naive. The ONLY way these tyrants can stay in power, is to destroy EVERY bit of democratic structures, including the purpose of the security forces, and the judiciary. This can take years to rebuilt, but the peoples will see to it, that valuable institutions will be part of their new soceity. But, in the meantime, you and those other violent lunatics of the left, keep supporting your heros, dead or alive !!!! YOU ARE LONERS AND LOSERS !!!!
