Syria SMSes rebels: 'Game over'

2012-09-27 20:31

Damascus - Syrian authorities have sent text messages over cell phones nationwide with a message for rebels fighting President Bashar Assad's regime: "Game over".

The messages signed by the Syrian Arab Army also urge the rebels to surrender their weapons and warn the countdown to evict foreign fighters has begun.

Syrians say they began receiving the messages on Thursday, a day after rebels bombed a military command centre in Damascus - a major security breach of the heavily guarded capital.

Despite the high-profile attack, the two sides have been locked in a stalemate after 18 months of conflict.

Last month, Syrian army helicopters dropped leaflets warning rebels in Damascus to hand over their arms and seek amnesty.

These dictators are all the same, they live in some crazed fantasy world, having lost any sense of reality. The bombs in Damascus, must by now be shaking the foundations of the Presidential palace, and than these psychopaths come and say; game over !!!! and than eventually, when their 'own' people hang them from a tree, they are in disbelieve....................."but they told me they LOVED me !!!!!!" There is a word for this behaviour, but can't think of it, I am sure Proff BS Fidel, will come up with it !!!

Keith is being a sick, genocidal racist and bigot. A more backward and wrong perspective is hard to find.

Lmao assad is watching too many movies. Game over? That's so lame seriously. You cannot use phycological warfare at this stage in the war, let alone a dumb phrase like that especially after your most secure buildings get bombed up and your military is defecting against you. It game over for you assad

      fred.fraser.12 - 2012-09-28 07:32

I'm with you on this Zaks. You're totally wrong about Israel and the Palestinians though.

      zaks2217 - 2012-09-28 08:37

Let's see if you still with me when the new goverment of Syria is put into place and they start getting involved with Palestine. Israel is a murderous, land stealing, human rights violating racist illegal state with courts that serve their own image. Take the rachel corrie case for example. Utterly disgraceful. U should start paying attention fred. U r South African, its shameful that u support Israel. Don't put us to shame please.

      AnthonyfromAfrica - 2012-09-28 09:52

Zaks, It is all very well or you to be spewing out your hatred for Israel, but living in Africa, you should be aware of " realities " The reality is that today Israel and Africa, have more and better diplomatic and business relations than ever. And something else you might try to understand and accept; Africa and its populations have NO appetite whatsoever for any radicalism. So , maybe it is time to join the majority, and help promote Africa and concentrate on what matters to Africa; INVESTMENTS ( at present 88 % from the EU ) and JOBS. The populations of africa want to better their lives and that of their children. Africa just cannot afford to get stuck in this endless anti Western BS and CRAP

      zaks2217 - 2012-09-28 11:41

Sorry, I aint gonna be bribed with money or 'investments' to join an unjust cause. So that's how the devil operates. Majority u say?? Lol look again.

      AnthonyfromAfrica - 2012-09-28 17:43

MAJORITY FOR SURE; Show ONE African country that has elected a radical party to power, or where they even got more than 10 % of the vote !! Not even here in SA.......The ones that wanted to drive the Whites into the sea, got pushed into the sea themselves, by Black Africans !!!!!!!

      zaks2217 - 2012-09-28 18:14

Majority in support of Palestine, Anthony. Who said supporting them is radical, supporting Isreal is radical. Shows your twisted way of associating radicalism with fighting a just cause just like how we did in SA. But since seeing u think u know it all ill give u one african country. The muslim brotherhood in Egypt! Israels fckin neighbour! Wake up. - Read the history of the organistion, very so called 'radical'! But they have kept their treaty intact with Israel. What have u to say now?

      fred.fraser.12 - 2012-09-28 18:37

      I won't be. You're totally wrong.
