PICS: Protests begin across America ahead of Trump's inauguration

Thousands of people across the US have gathered to protest ahead of the inauguration of Donald Trump, with signs reading 'Hell begins at noon' and 'American Nightmare'.

Washington - President Donald Trump, who has been sworn in as the 45th president of the United States, said on Friday change started "right here and right now".

Trump said the forgotten men and women of the country "will be forgotten no longer".

He started off his address by saying "together we will determine the course of America and the world for many, many years to come".
