This stylist from Taaiwan makes ‘hair dust’ from his clients’ haircuts and uses it for his artwork.

Allen Chen first collects the hair trimmings from his clients, then chops it with a electric scissors before using it for his art.

It takes between two and six hours to create a hair sand painting, he says.
