A generous student has left college to help his dying best friend complete his bucket list, while he still has time.

A devastated Chris Betancourt (20) believes he only has one-year-left to live after being diagnosed with cancer.

To ensure the 20-year-old makes the most of his time, his best friend, Dillon Hill (19) dropped out of college to help him complete an extensive bucket list year.

Now the duo, who are both from California, US, are travelling around the world to help complete the rather long 127 point list.

“Life has been difficult – making the decision to leave school meant I’d lose my job and soon I’ll be living out of my car,” says Dillon.

This has been a life-changing experience for both of us on so many levels.”

The two, who’ve been documenting their experiences, have grown an online community who are inspired by what they are doing.

“We’ve documented our story as best friends, and now we’re helping other people experience their bucket lists.

“It's truly amazing!” he says.

Well, what’s next for Chris and Dillon? The two plan on lifting weights with former wrestler The Rock.

“We hope to be able to do this for a very long time – the biggest thing we want to do right now is lift weights with The Rock,” says Dillon

“This entire project as a whole is just incredible and no specific thing stands out because it all comes together to form an amazing journey.

“We're trying to turn this into something big but it's very difficult and the project requires effort 24/7.”
