Man’s best friend.

This adorable pooch certainly is, after helping his human friend with some grocery shopping.

Shoppers were stunned to see a German Shepard pushing a trolley in the supermarket while his owner strolled on in front of him.

The bizarre moment, which took place at a grocery store in California, US, was quickly captured and posted online by Twitter user, Arianna Coria, who said she was quite shocked by the unusual sight.

“I heard people saying ‘awhh so cute’ and I turned around and saw the doggy pushing the cart,” 18-year-old Ariana told Metro

The video has been shared more than 200 000 times and has been liked by 300 000 Twitter users.

Stunned by the pup’s skills, other users jokingly posted pictures of their own markedly less helpful dogs.
