In the spirit of good fun, companies went to town with jokes and pranks for April Fools' Day this morning -- and some were more believable than others. 1. Samsung's Blade Edge This morning tech giant Samsung introduced the Blade Edge, the world's first smartphone and knife combination. The Blade Edge allows you to have conversations while you chop food, or even put video chat on and show people what you're chopping. The company even posted a legit looking blog post about the Blade Edge, complete with features and specs.

2. Pac-Man in Google Maps

This one is definitely a treat for gamers! For April Fools, Google, added a Pac-Man style map view. If you click on the Insert Coins on the side, you will receive hints about which locations to look up in order to see the Pac-Man style looking maps, the Pac-Man ghosts, and Pac-Man himself. Not only will the map look like a Pac-Man game, you'll actually be able to play Pac-Man there as well.


3. Selfie- Shoes

Tired of wasting your energy carrying selfie-sticks? Well cry no more! Shoe-company Miz Mooz's selfie-shoes make sure you look great without the discomfort. All you have to do is insert your phone into the port at the front of either your right or left shoe, raise it to the perfect angle and click the internal button with a tap of your toe to take the photo.

4. Google Backwards

It seems Google is going all out this year! if you head to com.google right now, you'll find the search engine backwards. In fact, everything you search will be displayed back to front.

5. A Onesie for your car! Winter is coming so why get your car a onesie? Toyota came up with this one, adding how you'd be a fool not to get it.

6. Climate Change Will Wake Up Dragons

So this one is self-explanatory. A research team even produced a paper that’s supposedly due to be published in scientific journal Nature today. Alrighty then.

7. The new invisible watch A company in the UK introduced the first invisible watch. The timepiece can only be seen by the wearer and is available from the on-line electrical retailer for only R 5300!

8. GumTea Isn't it annoying when you order something from Gumtree and the buyer or seller suffers from bad breath?! Gumtree released miracle tea which promises to boost the seller’s confidence for those all important face-to-face purchases, ensuring that buyers aren’t put off by the wrong sort of smile.
