She’s due to make a comeback as the CIA agent Charlie Tucker in the new TV series State of Affairs but can Katherine Heigl win over the masses? The 35-year-old actress has built up quite a reputation in Hollywood - and it’s not a good one. 1 She’s known for her diva antics on set. And there’s many! ‘‘Wardrobe issues, not getting out of the trailer, questioning the script every single day,’’ an insider says who worked with her on the 2012 crime comedy One For The Money.
2 Her momager, Nancy Heigl, is just as bad as her daughter and they both have a potty mouth, sources say. ‘‘I have never experienced anything like Nancy Heigl,’’ a source says. ‘‘It’s about the mouth. ‘F*ck you. You are a f*cking liar’. Whatever you’d say, you were an idiot.’’
3 She’s the reason our beloved Dr Isobel ‘‘Izzie” Stevens disappeared from our screens on the medical drama show Grey’s Anatomy! Katherine left the show in 2010 to pursue a career on the big screen which didn’t exactly pan out.
4 Even producers steer clear of her. One top producer at a network says they wanted to cast Katherine for a project but they decided against it because of her bad reputation. ‘‘On many levels, she would have been perfect for the role, but all of us said, ‘She’s not worth it’’.
5 She loves big pay checks, so much so that producers that casted her in an independent flick Jenny’s Wedding had to raise funds online due to her high demands. Greedy much?
6 She makes terrible romantic comedies - well for the most part. She even got a Golden Raspberry Award nomination for Worst Actress for her role in One For The Money!
7 Loyalty doesn’t really matter to her. In 2008 she said her first big role in the 2007 romantic comedy Knocked Up was ‘sexist’. So much for loyalty!
8 She bad-mouths her colleagues. Katherine openly said in 2008 she didn’t want another Emmy nomination for her role in Grey’s Anatomy because the writing on the show is so bad. Ouch! No wonder the show’s creator Shonda Rhimes apparently didn’t want to give Katherine her job back after she came crawling back when her movie career went up in smoke!
9 She likes to make movie-star demands. When she promoted her 2008 comedy 27 Dresses overseas she even wanted to stay in the presidential suite of one hotel. “It was just a sense of entitlement. The biggest stars don’t do that kind of thing,’’ a source dishes.
10 People just love to hate her because she loves herself so much. Like one fan says, ‘‘Had a crush on her too when I was younger. But I had to learn the hard way too that beauty is only skin deep. Sometimes the prettiest girls have the ugliest personalities.’’ Let’s just hope Katherine has learnt from her past mistakes.
