These musos love penning tracks about their troubled love-lives

Taylor Swift

The 24-year-old country singer has made a career out of writing songs about her exes, which include One Directioner Harry Styles (20), Joe Jonas (24) and John Mayer (36). Her track We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together is reportedly about actor Jake Gyllenhaal (33).

John Mayer

The crooner wrote his track Paper Doll about Taylor. In it he sings, “You’re 22 girls in one”. Ouch! But he kind of owed her after she wrote Dear John about him!

Joe Jonas

Taylor is also reportedly the inspiration behind the Jonas Brothers’ track Much Better, which Joe wrote! He sings about a girl with tears on her guitar. Sounds like Taylor to us!

Miley Cyrus

Miley (21) previously said she started crying while shooting the video for her ballad Wrecking Ball because she was thinking about her dog Layla. Yeah, right! It’s clear the break-up song is all about Miley’s four-year on-again off-again relationship with her former fiancé, Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth (24).

Pink (34) is beyond awesome! In 2008 the singer wrote a song, So What, about her separation from her hubby, retired motorcycle racer Carey Hart (39). But it must be the worst break-up song ever because they reconciled and are still married!
