- Nina’s full name is actually Nikolina Konstantinova Dobreva.
2. She’s Bulgarian
- Nina was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. When she was two, she and her family moved to Toronto, Ontario, in Canada.
3. She’s a wise old soul
- Nina’s social media accounts are full of pearls of wisdom. She’s constantly tweeting and Instragramming inspirational photos and quotes. Definitely follow her if you ever need a mood-booster!
4. She’s a sucker for on-screen romance
- Everyone knows she dated her Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder from 2010-2013, and rumour has it the couple may be back on. But Nina also dated Degrassi: The Next Generation co-star Daniel Clark in 2007.

- Nina competed in rhythmic gymnastics and even represented Canada in the Junior and Senior World Championships in 2005.
