A new generation for Maggie Benedict?

It's official, Generations actress, Maggie Benedict has officially left the popular South African soapie

Maggie Benedict who plays the role of Akhona on popular South African soapie, Generations, has announced her departure from the show. Earlier this week the actress posted on her Facebook fan page saying:

"Sjoe friends, so it's been a minute since I was last on FB. Things have slowed down now, so lets do a quick 30 minute Q & A about my leaving Generations. #ExitInterview. Starting now!"

Alick Bcause: "Now who is gonna say Nic the way u say it?gud luck in whatever u wl b doing"

Theresho Moremadi: "If u leave generations, I swear I will stop watching it #crying"

Priviledge Privie Dzomba: "So in generations, what wil be the reason fo yo leaving? Are yu going to dissapear just like mzwanele and Kimberly or yu are running away frm MJ? Or they will kidnap yu? I just want to knw uphuma kanjani?"

Daphney Matsaung: oh am going to miss u #sad-face"

Nomcebo Simelane: "I love u so much maggi I will miss u mwaaah take gud care of yourself my friend"

More comments on the post flooded in. Benedict's responses confirmed that, despite rumours, she was not leaving Generations to join the cast of Isibaya and confirmed that she left her Generations family at the end of March. In one of her responses, she said that " It really has been the best gig and the greatest learning curve of my career."

Here's to new things that we'll just have to wait to see.
