Amanda Bynes’ mother has retained conservatorship over the actress.

Lynn Bynes has been in charge of Amanda’s medical and financial decisions since 2013.

And a judge in Oxnard, California on Tuesday ruled that Lynn’s conservatorship should continue until the 28-year-old’s next hearing on June 23.

'The legal process is working in Amanda’s favour'

Following the ruling, Amanda’s attorney said the decision was the best for all parties.

“I am glad the arrangement is continuing. The legal process is working in Amanda’s favour,” David Esquibias told Access Hollywood.

He also revealed that Amanda is “doing well”.

The She’s the Man actress has had a difficult few years.

Amanda had been showing erratic behaviour towards her family and loved ones, and also claimed to be homeless towards the end of last year.

However it was revealed in December that her parents had found a way to keep track of their daughter’s movements, as they struggle to communicate via other channels.

“Amanda’s mom, Lynn, set up the Uber car service on her daughter's cell phone,” a source told Radar Online. “Uber can take Amanda anywhere she needs to go and it’s paid for out of Amanda’s estate, since her mom has conservatorship." The troubled star has previously accused her parents via Twitter of keeping her from her money. She also used the social networking site to explain she has been diagnosed with manic depression and bipolar disorder, adding that she has been seeing a psychologist and psychiatrist every week. "What is wrong with them? My lawyer is working to have them fully removed from being my conservator, because they don't deserve control over my money – They are miserable in their life and I will fight to get control of my finances taken away from them ! (sic)" she tweeted in November.
