Asian pork

Serves 2-4 

sesame oil, for frying

olive oil, for frying

800 g deboned pork rib, cubed

10 ml (2 t) Chinese five-spice powder

250 ml (1 c) chicken stock

30 ml (2 T) soy sauce

15 ml (1 T) honey

coriander, chopped

red chilli, chopped

1. Heat a little sesame and olive oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.

2. Brown the pork cubes.

3. Sprinkle with the Chinese five-spice powder and mix well.

4. Add the chicken stock, soy sauce and honey.

5. Simmer for about 20 minutes or until the meat is tender and fragrant.

6. Serve on Asian noodles and scatter coriander and chilli on top.
