Bobbi Kristina Brown is to remain on life support.

A number of media outlets had reported on Monday that the 21-year-old would be taken off the machine this week. The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late singer Whitney Houston has been in hospital since being found unconscious in a bathtub on January 31.

But following the latest claims, family lawyer Christopher Brown told People magazine that the reports were “false” and that her condition remained the same.

'There hasn't been a change in the past week'

Bobbi Kristina is currently in Emory University Hospital in Atlanta with her family, including dad Bobby, by her side.

The star’s relatives have had to issue a number of statements in recent days due to the volume of inaccurate reports that are being published regarding her condition.

On Saturday, the lawyer once again addressed the press, warning them not to speak to unauthorised family members.

“At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorised members of the family," the attorney said. "The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalisation of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised. Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them."

Despite this, on Sunday a family member told the outlet that Bobbi Kristina was no better or worse than earlier in the week.

“There hasn't been a change in the past week," they said.

It was confirmed on February 11 by Roswell Police Department in Georgia that the bathtub incident is a criminal investigation.
