"My heart is broken," B tweeted earlier.

And the drama continues at Metro FM...

Just days after breakfast show host Unathi Msengana left Metro FM, another of the station's star radio personalities Bonang Matheba handed in her resignation. Queen B, who has hosted the Front Row with JJ and DJ Naked for the last three years, posted a series of tweets late on Monday afternoon explaining that she was informed an hour before her show that management was "approaching a different creative direction with the show".

Soon after, she released a more detailed statement.

"After driving the Front Row Show for the last three years I have officially stepped down from my role as the show host today.

"Metro FM management informed me this morning that they were approaching a different creative direction with the show which no longer aligned to brand Bonang. I will definitely miss my Metro FM listeners, but I do promise to be back soon, as you all know radio is my first love."
