The great escape.

Two five-year-olds managed to dig their way out of pre-school using nothing but sand spades from the school’s grounds. After the great escape, the little boys headed to a Jaguar showroom in the hope of buying a ‘grown up car’.

The pair, from Russia, was caught after telling bystanders outside the showroom they wanted to buy a car.

According to the Siberian Times, the boys were then taken to a police station. They admitted that they had planned their escape for days, using the toy spades to dig a hole under the fence.

They had waited until the school staff’s attention was diverted before carrying out their plan.

“This is a very serious breach of rules. The head of the group that allowed this to happen was fired,” said Olga Denisenko, the acting head of pre-school education.

“The acting head of the kindergarten has been given administrative notice”.
