Celebrating 100 years of commercial air travel

The St Petersburg-Tampa Airboat Line became the world's first scheduled passenger airline service, operating between the cities of St Petersburg and Tampa in Florida. The service was short-lived, lasting less than four months, but it paved the way for today's daily transcontinental flights.
