Cheeky squirrel photobombs engagement shoot in the most adorable way

Kelin Flanagan and Spencer Taubner set out to take some epic photos in the Canadian Rockies to celebrate their engagement – but things didn't turn out quite how they planned...

Taken at Banff National Park this cheeky squirrel decided he wanted in on the action during the couple’s hike to Helen Lake and Cirque Peak.

The incredible picture has since gone viral online, prompting more than a few sceptics -- but the photographers swear the pic was not Photoshopped.

“Somebody left nuts over there,” Marcin Karpowicz of BDFK Photography told CTV News, “so we just waited until a squirrel picked up the nuts.”

The shot over 50 pics of the couple before getting one of the critters perfectly in focus.

Photogenic, no?
