Chunky chocolate spread

Make your own chocolate spread at home! Perfect for fuss-free school lunches – and weekend pancakes.

Serves: 6 Preparation: 5 min Cooking: 5 min

  • 200 g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 70 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 x can condensed milk (395 g)
  • 200 g butter, softened

1. Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of gently simmering water and stir occasionally until melted.

2. Remove from heat and then stir in butter, nuts and milk until well combined.

3. Spoon into a jar and refrigerate until ready to spread on sliced bread.
