Creamy bacon pasta

Serves 4 Preparation time: 5 min Cooking time: 15 min

375 g pasta shells 125 g bacon, cut into pieces 1 onion, chopped 250 ml (1 c) cream 80 ml (¾ c) sun-dried tomato pesto salt and pepper grated Parmesan cheese and basil

Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions and drain.

Fry the bacon pieces until done, add the onion and cream and cook until the mixture thickens.

Add the pesto to the bacon mixture.

Season and spoon over the pasta.

Sprinkle the cheese on top and serve with fresh basil.
