Daniel Radcliffe is determined to forge a career for himself away from the 'Harry Potter' series and wants to keep working until he dies.

Daniel Radcliffe wants to die on a film set.

The 'Kill Your Darlings' actor knows he has to work hard to be disassociated from Harry Potter, the role which made him famous and which he played in eight movies from the age of 11, but is determined to have a long career and prove himself as an actor.

Discussing getting away from being typecast as the boy wizard, he said: "I've always said that it's a long process, and in a way it may be a lifelong one.

"It's about proving to people that I'm in this for the long haul, and that I wasn't just looking to get as famous as I could for as long as I could and ride that out. I love almost every aspect of this industry and I want to be in it, and if I could drop dead on a film set at 80, that's how I'd want to go."

The 23-year-old star also admitted he can't bring himself to watch many of his early turns in the 'Harry Potter' series.

However, despite his awkwardness at seeing himself on screen, Daniel is growing more comfortable with himself and less critical of his work.
