Demi Moore has reportedly had $200,000 worth of her clothes stolen.

Demi Moore has reportedly had $200,000 (R2 million) worth of her clothes stolen.

The 52-year-old has been a figure in Hollywood since the 80s, with red carpet appearances a regular for the actress over the decades.

In this time she has amassed a large collection of high-end clothes, choosing to keep some of them in storage.

But when her assistants recently went into the storage unit in North Hollywood they noticed pieces weren't there, reports TMZ.

The news outlet claims that $200,000 worth of clothes have gone missing, many of them one of a kind, irreplaceable pieces.

A police source told TMZ that Demi's team noticed the theft on Monday, when they saw a massive space in her belongings. The star is now said to be putting together an itemised list of her losses.

When it comes to the facility itself, there was reportedly no sign of forced entry and the lock was still intact. Sources say Demi's people think this could have been an inside job at the storage unit.

Finding the culprit could prove tough though as it's thought no one has been to the unit in six months, and the company's surveillance cameras don't go back that far.

Demi has been busy recently supporting her eldest daughter Rumer as she competes on Dancing with the Stars.

The 26-year-old has been wowing with both her routines and revealing costumes. She recently spoke about how much her body has altered thanks to the show's gruelling rehearsals.

"It definitely changes your body a lot. Everything [is] getting a little bit tighter," she told E! News.
