Ian Somerhalder's Twitter was taken over by a hacker declaring his love for Nina Dobrev last night.
The actor (36) could have some explaining to do to his wife Nikki Reed after the culprit made reference to his ex-girlfriend and former Vampire Diaries co-star, who he dated for almost two years before splitting in 2013. He's since moved on with Twilight star Nikki (27) with the pair marrying in April. However, the past was brought up in the Twitter takeover, with the hacker posting: "i lOVE U @ninadobrev (sic)." A short while after the unknown person said it had been a "great experience", before showing some remorse and tweeting: "I am so sorry (sic)".
The tweets have now disappeared from Ian's feed and none of the stars involved have commented on the incident.
In reality, it seems Ian has well and truly moved on from Nina, 26. Recently he even addressed starting a family with his new wife.
“Oh, hell yes! Absolutely,” he grinned when asked about children by Entertainment Tonight.
The cheeky star then added that it's the trying part he enjoys most.
“You know, it’s all about practice… It’s not practice makes perfect — it’s perfect practice," he laughed.
Ian and Nikki started dating in mid-2014 and announced their engagement in February this year. Things moved quickly for the pair, but it just felt right.
“It’s the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something,” he added. “It’s a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world — but I really can’t wait to do it.”
