This doccie on the brief life of Brazilian F1 racing driver Ayrton Senna virtually puts you in the driving seat as he hurtles around some of the fastest tracks in the world at speeds in excess of 300 km/h.

The racing segments, consisting mostly of TV clips and footage from minicams attached to cars, cover his 10-year career and resurrects several notable crashes.

It begins in 1984 with his amazing appearance on the world racing scene in Monaco where he came from last to finish second.

Four years later he won his first world championship in the Japanese Grand Prix and went on to win two more titles.

It culminates with the crash that killed him at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix in Italy.

Senna is regarded by his peers as one of the most instinctive and talented drivers in the history of the sport and today is a national hero in Brazil. A must-see for adrenaline junkies.
