Mind = blown.

You may need to get out a notepad and pencil to solve this one.

We've seen our fair share of brain teasers. But nothing as logic-defying as this one.

When Emily and Seth Peterson welcomed twin boys, Samuel and Ronan into the world, they realized they were quite special.

Riddle-making special.

"Samuel was born first, but his twin brother Ronan is older. How is that possible?" the Cape Cod Hospital Maternity asked on their Facebook page, alongside a photo of Seth and Emily with their new babies.

Don't worry, you're not the only one who's confused.

The internet has taken it upon itself to solve the unusual riddle.

Check out some of the guesses below.

Alright alright, we'll share the answer with you!

Answer: Samuel was born at 1:39 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6 and by the time Ronan was born 31 minutes later, #DaylightSavingsTime had ended for the year and the time fell back by an hour, making Ronan’s official time of birth 1:10 a.m.

“I said earlier that night that they were either going to be born on two different days or the time change was going to come into play,” said Seth, who is trooper with the Massachusetts State Police." reads the viral Facebook post.

"Cape Cod Hospital Maternity nurse, Deb Totten, said it was the first time she has ever seen this happen in more than 40 years of nursing!"
