Join the Hope Hike to help the fight against depression.

For many, depression is a life-threatening, debilitating disease that takes over their lives – and what makes it worse is that many people avoid talking about it.

That’s why the Ithemba Foundation is organising the Hope Hike – to change attitudes, break the silence and raise awareness that depression is a biological condition like any other.

If you or a family member suffer from depression, you can contribute to the cause by taking part in the Hope Hike.

What is the Hope Hike?

The hike is aimed at raising awareness of, and funds for, research into clinical depression by getting the public involved in fighting the stigma that so often accompanies depression and breaking the taboo surrounding the subject. It’s a family-friendly hike and you can choose between a 5 km or a 10 km route.

When 13 October 2013.Registration starts at 08:30, the hike starts at 10 am on 13 October
