Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family refutes claims she is brain dead.

But doctors have said there is nothing more they can do for the 21-year-old daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. According to TMZ, Bobby Brown has been advised to take his daughter off life support.

She is said to be in a medically induced coma after being discovered unresponsive in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home last weekend.

Rumours are rife Bobbi Kristina’s kin are saying their last goodbyes as they prepare to take her off life support, but her family refutes these claims.

It doesn't look like she's coming back, at least not back to her old self

“There is no ‘family gathering’ today that is any different from any other day since she has been in the hospital-the family has been there since the weekend so nothing any different today for them to be there than any other day,” an official statement from her clan read, which was issued to NBC News on Thursday. “She is not brain dead and the Houstons and the Browns are not fighting.”

Earlier on February 5, People magazine reported the Browns and Houstons were gathering by Bobbi Kristina’s bedside at Emory University Hospital “to say goodbye”.

According to the outlet, doctors informed them there was nothing more they could medically do to help her.

Although Bobbi Kristina’s family refutes rumours she is brain dead, it’s claimed she remains in critical condition.

"It's really dire,” a source told Us Weekly. “It doesn't look like she's coming back, at least not back to her old self.”

Meanwhile Bobbi Kristina’s father Bobby hasn’t left his daughter’s side as she fights for her life in hospital.

He is supposedly struggling desperately over the possibility of his child not getting well, as their relationship was contentious before she became comatose.

“He hasn't been able to accept that his daughter isn't coming back,” the Us Weekly source shared. “I think at the moment he's worried that he won't be able to say goodbye. Their last interaction is not the last one he wants to have with his daughter.”
