James Franco’s talent apparently knows no bounds.

Star of films such as Spiderman and 127 Hours, he is also a recognised as a writer, artist, producer, director and now musician.

Franco collaborated with artist/musician Tim O’Keefe – under the name Daddy - to release an album entitled MotorCity, Channel24 reported. The album also features guest vocals by Motown legend Smokey Robinson.

Franco, 34, said he wrote and produced the album while filming Oz: The Great and Powerful in Detroit. The movie also stars Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz and will be out in 2013.

Daddy also released a music video for the nostalgic song Love in the Old Days.
