They tied the knot on August 5 in a secret, intimate ceremony, before jetting off on honeymoon to Bora Bora accompanied by 12 close friends, including her former co-stars Courteney Cox and Jason Bateman.
Since their return the newlyweds have gone their separate ways for work, and the actress is believed to be upset about how things have panned out post-nuptials.
'She feels dumb when people ask where Justin is all the time'
“Jen’s been really down in the dumps about how the schedules have worked out,” a source told British magazine Heat. “She thought Justin would fly in for the She’s Funny That Way premiere, but he wasn’t able to leave The Leftovers set. She feels dumb when people ask where Justin is all the time, and she’s been coming out of her trailer on set with red, puffy eyes. It’s like they’re both going through a massive post-wedding comedown. “
The honeymoon was seemingly over quite quickly after landing on US soil, with Justin flying to Texas to work on the second series of The Leftovers. Meanwhile Jennifer headed to Atlanta, Georgia to start shooting her new comedy Mother’s Day.
The 46-year-old will be reportedly be on location until Saturday, making it nearly a month since she had quality time with her spouse.
Despite the distance, both have spoken about how much their big day meant to them.
“The fact that we were just able to have the most peaceful, private experience and with a bunch of very extraordinary, wonderful - trustworthy obviously - people," Jennifer recently gushed to Extra.
"I'm very happy. It's nice to be able to look down and see a new piece of jewellery on my finger,” Justin told People.
