Jennifer Lopez stunned in a midnight-blue Valentino gown at the Tony Awards last night.

The singer-and-actress graced the red carpet at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City in the strapless gown that featured a fitted bodice and floor-length sweeping skirt. And in keeping with her superstar status, the design featured glittering gold shooting stars that clustered at the top and were sprinkled along the length of the dress. Her vintage hairdo also turned heads, with the 45-year-old rocking tight curls that swept to chin length. She finished the look with a deep red lipstick and smoky bronze eye make-up. Jennifer showed off her amazing outfit on Twitter, posting a snap and simply captioning it "#TonyAwards".

The star wasn't the only one who enjoyed last night's event in style. Amanda Seyfried also headed to the event, looking beautiful in a dress by Oscar de la Renta.

The shimmering black-and-gold number was covered in a brocade pattern, with the 29-year-old finishing the look off by scraping her hair back severely.

Also looking sultry was Taylor Schilling, who graced the event in a black gown by Michael Kors, which showed off her fabulous figure with cut-outs at the midriff and back. Vanessa Hudgens, who is currently amazing the crowds with her performance in Gigi on Broadway, brought a slice of summer to proceedings in her colourful Naeem Khan gown. The halter-neck number featured huge blooms in peach and yellow, which contrasted beautifully with her dark hair. It wasn't just her fashion sense that impressed, as Vanessa also put on a little performance for the crowds last night. "READY TO PERFORM!!! #TonyAwards @GigiOnBroadway (sic)," she tweeted.
