American rapper, entrepreneur and fashion designer Kanye West has attracted negative attention yet again, this time demanding his wheelchair-bound fans to stand up and dance to his music.

The cringe-worthy moment occurred on Friday at Kanye’s gig at the Sydney Credit Union Arena. He apparently refused to continue with his song, Good Life, until every fan was on their feet.

“Y’all having a good time so far?” Kanye (37) asked the crowd. “I decided I can’t do this song – I can’t do the rest of this show until everybody stands up.”

The song was stopped, while Kanye said, “Imma see you if you ain’t standing up, believe me, I’m very good at that.”

He then walked to a lower section of the arena on the right, and pointed to someone, saying, “Is he in a wheelchair?” The fans booed and began shouting “Stand up! Stand up! Stand up!” Kanye wasn’t having any of it, and said, “There’s literally two people left. They don’t want to stand up.”

“This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song,” the rapper said, annoyed. “It’s unbelievable.”

Kanye sent his German bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, to check the fans. He verified that they were wheelchair users.

The rapper then began the song again, this time with his foot in his mouth.
