Kate Hudson’s super-fast workout secret

Kate’s fitness regimen isn’t extreme in the slightest.

Kate Hudson is surprised by how “sweaty” she gets doing jump rope.

The 35-year-old Wish I Was Here actress stunned in a white Versace gown at the Golden Globes on Sunday, with many commenting on her toned figure.

'I’m a big believer in doing 20 minutes of exercise a day'

And Kate finds skipping with a rope some of the most effective exercise practices of all time.

“[I recommend doing jump rope] because it’s one of the hardest cardio exercises you can do, but it’s so easy,” she told Sunday Times Style magazine. “I do three sets of three minutes; I’m always shocked at how sweaty I get.”

In fact, the star only works out for a few minutes each day and she’s convinced people will achieve far out fitness results if they do the same.

“I’m a big believer in doing 20 minutes of exercise a day,” she shared. “I wouldn't say [I work out] a lot, just consistently. People think for some reason you have to work out for two and a half hours… but, it can be little. It can be 20 minutes, it could be 40 minutes.”

However, Kate notes skipping a day or two isn’t advised.

She believes discipline is necessary in order to attain set health goals.

“You can't do like two weeks and go like do two days and then take a week off and then do three days and then go, 'Why aren't I seeing results? I don't get it.'” Kate said. “You know, you just got to do it - sad, like anything else in life!”
