Kris Jenner hopes her ex-husband Bruce finds happiness.

The 65-year-old former Olympic athlete announced his transition into a woman last month during an interview with Diane Sawyer.

His lifestyle change will also be documented in a two-part E! series Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce, with the first part airing on Sunday.

'He's going to find his happiness'

And now Kris has opened up about her former spouse’s decision, admitting that all she wants is for him to find peace within himself.

“At the end of the day, I just want him to be happy,” Kris told the New York Times.

“He's going to find his happiness, and he's going to have his journey.”

Kris’ comments came as her daughter Kim Kardashian also spoke about Bruce’s transition.

While his family have all been supportive of his decision, Bruce admitted to Diane that it was Kim who had been the most accepting.

And Kim said in an interview with US TV show Extra on Thursday that her mother and siblings are coping well with Bruce’s announcement.

“My mom is doing really good. We’re really excited, I was with Bruce yesterday, and we were just saying what an exciting time in life this is,” Kim said.

“Everyone, including my mom — we're just so happy he can be himself and happy.”

This comes after a promo for About Bruce showed Kris in tears, admitting she was unsure whether the memories she had of her marriage were even real.

It has also been claimed that the upcoming docu-series About Bruce was entirely scripted, and there was nothing “spontaneous” about it at all.

“The idea that this was the first time Bruce told the family is ridiculous,” a source told, “and no one should fall for it.”

There has always been allegations that the Kardashians film scenes for their show for entertainment value.
