Lea Michele is releasing You're Mine, her track in tribute to her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

Lea Michele is releasing a song in tribute to her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

The Glee actress sings about her co-star - who died of a drugs overdose last July - in the emotionally charged ballad You're Mine, which is dedicated to the actor, and was a late addition to her forthcoming debut album, Louder, written in the wake of his passing.

She tweeted this morning: "My next IG track #YOUREMINE (available tomorrow) is my favorite song on #LOUDER. It's so special to me & it's story is so close to my heart. (sic)"

Lea (27) also posted pictures with some of the lyrics to the track, which includes the lines: "I told you all my dreams and fears / and you looked at me and your eyes filled with tears.

"And you said those three words I've been waiting for / you became a part of me."

Lea has also said she feels her bond with Cory has helped give her strength to start her solo music career.

She told Teen Vogue magazine: "I somehow feel the insane love Cory and I had for each other morphed into this strength that I have right now.

"There's just something about knowing he's watching everything I'm doing and feeling like I have to do everything now not just for me but for him."

When asked about which track on Louder would be Cory's favourite, she replied: "He loved Battlefield. I'm getting chills thinking about it. I would say Burn with You was his favourite. He came into the studio that day."
