Limpopo pastor cleanses congregation of evil spirits with Doom bug repellent, sends internet into uproar

A prophet of Doom.

According to this evangelist, Doom is not just for killing villains of the insect variety. Pastor Lethebo Rabalago of Limpopo believes it could also rid you of demons or evil spirits.

Social media was in an uproar after photos of Rabalago dousing members of the Lethobo with Doom at the Mount Zion General Assembly in Mookgophong were released. “God can use anything. God can use the mud. God can use saliva. God can use even poisonous thing to deliver people,” that pastor said to radio station to Talk 702. He insists that the Doom isn’t dangerous and doesn’t harm the members of his church, but many would disagree. Read more: Pastor (60) marries pregnant teenage lover – with his wife’s blessing “We find this practice alarming and extremely concerning, and want to make very clear that it is unsafe to spray any Doom or any aerosol onto people’s faces,” said the manufacturers of Doom in a statement.

In the photos you can see how the church members hold their eyes closed as their pastor sprays the insect spray onto their faces.

After the photos were released on social media the police in Limpopo have said they are launching an investigation into the incident.
