Martians have landed in Sandton!

05 June 2017

Aliens are in SA in search of chocolate.

A spaceship landed in Sandton City over the weekend and a short while later a group of Martians emerged – among a stunned crowd of shoppers and journalists.

To ensure their arrival ran smoothly, the Minister of Interstellar Affairs was present to warmly welcome the Martians to South Africa.

When asked about the reason for their visit, a spokesperson for the Martians said they came in search of more Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate.

Earlier this year, in an interstellar TV commercial, Cadbury Dairy Milk showed the lovable Martians, discovering a stash of chocolate left behind on Mars. The Martians were seen dancing with irrepressible joy after experiencing the taste of Cadbury chocolate for the first time.

Since then, the Martians have crept into the hearts of South Africans.

What better way to celebrate their arrival than by honouring them with a range of five collectible Martian figurines? With each of these lovable Martians having a distinct and unique personality, everybody is asking: which Martian will I love the most? Will it be Swaggy, Hazy, Duos, Mintu or Minchu? Or will I simply love them all? We’ll tell you more about them soon.

To start collecting your Martian figurines simply buy any four participating Cadbury Dairy Milk (80 g and 150 g) or Cadbury Dream 80 g slabs from any retail store around the country.

Find the unique codes inside the promotional wrappers and input four of these on to receive a redemption code which you can then use to claim your free Martian from any Engen Quickshop nationwide. While stocks last. Ts & Cs apply.

In addition to collecting your own Martian figurines, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Martians during June and July at mall activations around the country!
