“This sash is not only a sash."

Iris Mittenaere, a 24-year-old dentistry student from France, has beaten the world’s most beautiful girls to become the new Miss Universe. “This sash is not only a sash,” said Mittenaere, who is from the north of France, in an interview after the pageant, which took place on the weekend. “This is something to help people to understand people.”
