Robert Pattinson sold the mansion he used to share with ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart in Los Angeles for R70 million ($6,3 million).

Robert Pattinson is starting the new year on a fresh note – the Twilight hunk finally got rid of the plush Spanish Colonial-style property he lived in with his ex-girlfriend and Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart.

He reportedly sold the mansion The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons, who stars as the brilliant but socially inept Sheldon Cooper on the popular TV series.

Pattinson (27) put the three-bedroom mansion, which is located in the trendy Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, on the market in October last year for a staggering R74, 25 million ($ 6,75 million).

The 4,000 sq.-ft pad, which Robert bought in 2011 for R68,7 million ($6,25 million), is extremely private and is situated on 1.45 acres with extensive outdoor living space.

The property is complete with three-and-a-half bathrooms, a stunning amphitheatre and a lagoon pool fit for those summer nights.

The house was previously owned by former ER star Noah Wylie, who sold it to Oscar-winning cinematographer Robert Richardson.

It was then bought by Legally Blonde director Robert Luketic, who then sold it to Pattinson in 2011.

Pattinson and Stewart ended their four-year relationship last year after he struggled to get over her brief fling with married director Rupert Sanders in July 2012.

He moved out of the former love nest early last year and started renting a mansion in Beverly Hills, which was previously owned by Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff and Britney Spears.
