'My heart is so full of appreciation' – Amor

The 7de Laan actress has thanked fans for their outpouring of support after her accident.

The singer, VIA presenter and 7de Laan actress expressed her heartfelt gratitude for everyone’s support after she broke her left ankle in a freak accident at her son, Jordan’s, thirteenth birthday party.

“I am sitting here on my hospital bed at Morningside Mediclinic with a heart full of appreciation and gratefulness,” she said via a Facebook post after two successful operations.

The second operation, which was carried out by Dr Eshragi, was necessary to repair the ligaments and tendons in her foot. Read more: Amor Vittone undergoes two operations after ‘freak accident’ She wrote that at first doctors were skeptical because the innermost bone had broken through the flesh in her ankle and cut off the three most important ligament, tissue and nerves. “It was a freak accident at a trampoline at Bounce,” Amor wrote, who injured herself on her third jump at the trampoline park in Johannesburg.

“I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for everyone’s messages, prayers and love. Also thank you to Morningside Mediclinic for their unbelievable level of service and passion. Netcare and Life Fourways, thank you very much.

“My mother had to take over and help with the kids. Mom, thank you so much for not giving up and thanks dad for all the love.”

“My family, Jordan, Kylie and my friends. Thank you very much, I love you all.”

“I started rehabilitation today, on crutches. It’s a long road that lies ahead but I want to work hard so that I can get back at it – even if it is crutches,” she wrote.
