Redi Tlhabi welcomed her baby number two yesterday!

Redi Tlhabi welcomed baby number two yesterday! It was announced this morning on 702 that baby Khumo is healthy and weighs 4 kg. Replying to her friend’s tweet, the supermom wrote: “I've been on twitter ALL day yesterday AND gave birth during [the] day; contractions... whole gamut...naturally”. Redi (38) and her husband Dr Brian Tlhabi suffered miscarriages and failed fertility treatments for six years before miracle baby Neo was born in October 2013.

“We’re making a joke in the house that I spent six years trying to have a baby and suddenly I’m popping them out,” the radio host told YOU with a chuckle in March.

Now Neo, who’s turning three-years-old in few months, has a sister and a playmate.

She has been bonding with her sister while she was in the tummy and we’re sure that she’s as thrilled her as parents to finally have Khumo home.

Redi told YOU then that she has no doubt that her two children will get along just fine because Neo loves people and has many friends at playschool.

This doting mother is also stepmom to two grown-up daughters from Brian’s previous marriage, Lesego, and Ofentse.

Congratulation messages have been pouring in on Twitter following her announcement.

“So sorry I cannot respond to each & every one of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the messages & sharing our joy at Khumo's birth,” Redi said on Twitter. And judging from her tweets, Redi is over the moon about her bundle of joy. “Congratulations @RediTlhabi. I promise I wasn't gonna send you a heita call,” DA leader Mmusi Maimane tweeted. Soon after, Redi tweeted:
