Two college basketball players, Bubba and Tiny, are writing an important exam. If they fail they’d be put on academic probation and not allowed to play in a big game the following week. The exam is fill-in-the-blank.

The last question reads, “Old MacDonald had a . . .”

Bubba has no idea. Making sure the exam supervisor isn’t watching he taps Tiny on the shoulder.

“Psst, Tiny,” he whispers, “what’s the answer to the last question?”

Tiny looks around to make sure the supervisor isn’t watching then whispers back, “Bubba, you’re so stupid. Everyone knows Old MacDonald had a farm.”

“Oh yeah,” Bubba says, “I remember now.”

He picks up his pencil and starts to write the answer in the blank, then stops and taps Tiny’s shoulder again.

“Tiny, how do you spell farm?” he whispers.

“You’re really dumb, Bubba,” Tiny whispers back. “That’s easy – farm is spelled E-I-E-I-O.”
