Deirdre Larkin may have only taken up running late in life but she has certainly made up for lost time!

She may have taken up running later in life, but this octogenarian has certainly made up for lost time!

Deirdre Larkin has already set several world records and regularly finishes her various races with the best time in her category.

The 85-year-old from Fontainebleau, Randburg started running in 2009 as a way to cope with her osteoporosis. Today she has over 400 medals and she's an honorary life member of the Randburg Harriers.
