Authorities in Canada are investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide after a father seemingly admitted to killing his wife, daughter and sister through a chilling Facebook post.

Randy Janzen, from British Columbia allegedly killed his 19-year-old daughter Emily because she suffered from excruciating migranes, which caused her "severe depression".

'A mother should never have to hear the news her baby has died'

“I have done some of the worst things I could have ever imagined a person doing. First, to do with my dear, sweet, loving daughter Emily,” confessed Randy.

He then went on to explain he killed his wife because “a mother should never have to hear the news her baby has died”. Afterwards, Randy allegedly killed his sister so she could avoid the shame of his actions. “Then a couple of days later my sister Shelly because I did not want her to have to live with this shame I have caused all alone. “Now my family is pain free and in heaven.”

Soon after the murders, the residence went up in flames with Janzen believed to be still inside. His death is believed to have been a suicide.

The investigation continues.
