Serves 4

2 x 200 g sirloin/rib-eye steak

45 ml (3 T) olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

80 ml braai marinade

4 panini or other bread rolls

500 ml (2 c) rocket

200 ml tzatziki

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Season the steak with a little of the olive oil, salt, pepper and braai marinade.

Heat a griddle pan and fry the steaks over very high heat for about 3-4 minutes on both sides or until medium done. Leave to rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Halve the panini and arrange the bread halves on a baking sheet. Lightly toast the bread in the oven or on a griddle pan.

Drizzle the bread with a little of the olive oil, arrange the rocket on top of half the bread-roll halves followed by the meat slices.

Spoon a little of the tzatsiki on top of the meat and cover with the remaining bread-roll halves.
