One of Bobbi Kristina Brown's neighbours reported a domestic dispute at her address a week before she was found face-down in a bathtub.

In an emergency call made on January 23, a man who identified himself as a security guard at the gated community where Bobbi Kristina lives told a dispatcher that a neighbour reported a fight at her address.

The guard said the neighbour reported people "hitting each other and swinging" outside the townhome. The guard did not give descriptions of how many people were fighting or who they were.

Bobbi Kristina is the only child of entertainers Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. She was found face-down in a bathtub at the townhome on January 31. The circumstances in which she was found are under investigation. The emergency call tape was released to news media on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina's family have released a statement criticising the “egregious, false” reporting of her condition.

Following a number of publications printing the ‘news’, Bobby’s lawyer Christopher Brown issued a statement slamming the outlets in question.

“We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended. However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the Internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time,” it began. “In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention."

“We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina,” he said. “God is hearing our prayers.”
