Pork kebabs

You could use chicken instead of pork if you prefer.


125 ml oil

60 ml Dijon mustard

60 ml honey

salt and pepper to taste


500 g leg of pork, cubed

6 baby marrows, sliced into chunky discs

1 red pepper, seeded and cut into fairly large chunks

1 smallish onion, cut into chunks

Mix together the marinade ingredients.

Thread the meat cubes and the vegetables alternately onto skewers and put them in a dish. Pour over the marinade and chill for 3-6 hours.

Braai the kebabs over medium coals for 10-12 minutes or until just done.

Turn frequently and baste with the marinade with every turn.

Makes 6-8 kebabs.
