Is that a pout we see, Prince Jacques?

Not to be outdone by their British counterparts, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene have released their very first Christmas card.

The beautiful photo, not quite as casual as the recently released snap by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, shows the Monegasque monarch and his beautiful wife posed in one of the rooms of their at the family's Roc Agel retreat with their adorable twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella (1).

"Prince Albert and Princess Charlene as well as their children, Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, address all their best wishes 'for a happy Christmas and a New Year 2016 filled with joy'," the photo was captioned on their official Facebook page.

Prince Jacques was clearly more ready for the camera than his minutes-older sister. Dressed in a smart cream jumper, camel-coloured chinos and tiny brown boots, the heir to the throne of Monaco sits proudly on his father's knee. He even looks as though he's pouting at the camera.

Little  Gabriella though, clearly has more important things to attend to -- like the yummy red apple in her hands. Dressed in a pretty chiffon dress, the apple of mom's eye isn't even looking at the camera as she tucks into her juicy snack.

Bulawayo-born, Benoni-raised Charlene looks as stylish as always, donning an elegant tan polo neck jumper, floor-length ivory skirt and leather boots.

The royals recently celebrated the twins' first birthday with a surprise sweet party for Monaco school children, where the family of four helped hand out treats to their lucky party guests.
