Bhutan's Crown Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck will celebrate his first birthday on Sunday, and the royal occasion has been marked with a new portrait of the tot.

Known as the Dragon Prince of Bhutan, Prince Jigme is the son of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck (36) and Queen Jetsun Pema (26), rulers of the Buddhist kingdom on the eastern edge of the Himalayas, nestled in the mountains between China and India.

The newly released photograph shows the dimpled 11-month-old clad in a yellow and gold embroidered robe, clutching a matching yellow toy car.

His proud mama, Queen Jetsun, had already treated the world to pics of her sweet son in December on Facebook during Bhutan’s National Day celebration.

The new photo was taken at Lingkana Palace where he lives with his parents, Mail Online reports.

The gorgeous couple have been called the William and Kate of the Himalayas, according to US People.

The beloved royal couple announced the birth of their son just a few months before the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited their kingdom in April 2016.
