Sandwich griddle cakes

Cooking time: 35 min

Serves 4

250 ml (1 c) cake flour

180 ml (¾ c) grated Cheddar cheese

1 egg, beaten

180 ml (¾ c) milk

10 ml (2 t) baking powder

60 ml (4 T) oil

salt to taste??1

Mix all the ingredients together while the toasted-sandwich maker warms up.

Spoon tablespoonfuls of the batter onto the lower half of the sandwich maker and close it.

When golden brown remove and serve with cheese or jam of your choice.
